Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a Transport Team Respiratory Therapist, RRT, for third shift. You will plan and deliver respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients during interfacility transports by ground, air, or mixed modes, under physician supervision.

Minimum 3 years of relevant ICU or transport experience is required, along with valid Texas RCP license and current CPR/BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS, and TNCC certifications or within required timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent Neonatal and/or Pediatric ICU experience or current Neonatal/Pediatric Transport experience.
• Evidence of continued professional growth.
• Physical and mental ability to carry out the described job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess and provide optimal respiratory management and patient care for neonatal/pediatric transport.
• Support transport team during ground, fixed wing and rotor wing transfers under medical control.
