AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a StaffFlex contract. You will cover the night shift (7p–7a) and deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include assessing and adjusting treatments, monitoring ventilator patients, and collaborating with the care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.

• Patient care skills to care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations are required.
• Intubations and airway management for all population served [Preferred]
• Ventilator management for all populations served [Preferred]
• Arterial line placements [Preferred]

• Prevents and/or resolves untoward side effects and adjusts therapies according to protocol and documented clinical criteria.
• Reevaluates patient/ventilator interface a minimum of every four hours, responds to alarms, and troubleshoots as needed.
• Establishes weaning readiness and facilitates the weaning process, adjusting ventilator settings in accordance with patient progress.
