Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a full-time NICU Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients per physician prescriptions while upholding professional standards and ethics.

You will develop comprehensive care plans, document thoroughly, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective therapy across the NICU population, including neonates with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited OT program required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
• California OT license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prechtl's General Movement Certification highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat NICU patients per physician prescriptions.
• Develop comprehensive plans of care based on evaluations.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure total patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Maintain safety and uphold ethical standards in care.
