Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System seeks a Clinical Pharmacist specialized in Obstetrics and Neonatal ICU to join our day-shift team in Kansas City. You will participate in rounds, adjust dosing, ensure safe, cost-conscious regimens, and support on-call coverage with occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include medication reconciliation, patient education, and contributing to residency programs and staff training.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in state of primary practice site.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Completion of an accredited residency (PGY-1/PGY-2) preferred.
• ACLS, PALS/NRP, and BLS certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend patient care rounds and provide pharmacist-led care.
• Adjust doses for renal/hepatic dysfunction and monitor therapy.
• Perform medication reconciliation at admission/transfer/discharge.
• Educate patients and staff; participate in residency precepting.
