LE01 Valley Children's Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner accountable for a defined patient population, functioning as an expert practitioner, consultant, and educator.
The ideal candidate should have a Master's Degree in Nursing and program graduation from a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program, along with necessary licenses and certifications.
Compensation ranges from $71.40 to $113.75, with an expected workload of 36 hours weekly.
The Nurse Practitioner is an Advanced Practice Practitioner who is accountable for a "defined" patient population. Functions in the roles of expert practitioner, consultant, educator, patient advocate, care coordinator and researcher within a specialized area of practice. Possesses and exhibits a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in the provision of health care directly to the patient, family or community, or indirectly through guidance of care by other professional personnel. Provision of patient care is conducted and performed utilizing the medical model under the supervision of the CCS paneled Neonatologist and functions in accordance with standardized procedures within the scope of licensure and in accordance with applicable law, regulations, and in accordance with policies of Valley Children's Healthcare.
