Qualifications

• California RN license is required
• Nurse Practitioner Certification
• NRP certification
• AHA BLS Certification (current at all times)
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
• Demonstrated leadership and professional presentation

Responsibilities

• The NICU Neonatal Nurse Practitioner manages patients in the NICU under the direction and indirect supervision of the Medical Director and Nursing Director according to established nursing procedures.
• This is a leadership role in the department emphasizing time management, resource utilization and positive role modeling.
