Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for the Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital Team to cover our NICU. Candidates will engage in 13-hour night shifts managing a Level III NICU, catering to 8-12 patients.

The role requires an APRN national specialty certification, a master's degree, and experience in a Level III NICU. WA-based candidates are preferred. The position offers compensation ranging from $65 to $87 per hour based on experience.

Position Overview

Seeking Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join the Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital Team and cover our NICU.

Responsibilities

• 13 Hour Shifts – Nights
• Level III NICU, census 8-12 patients
• Availability in blocks for ongoing per diem coverage partnership.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $65 - $87/hr based on years of experience.
• Per diem staff travel expenses covered: round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging for those who reside outside commutable distance.
• Paid sick leave: one hour for every 30 hours worked; accrual begins upon hire and may be used after 90 days, no cap, carryover up to 108 hours; no payment for unused sick leave upon termination.
• Other benefits: Sick Pay Bank, Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
• Health insurance, retirement benefits, and paid time off are not offered for per diem role.
