Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in the Tacoma, WA area is seeking Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our NICU teams. This role features 24-hour inhouse shifts in Level II, II and IV NICUs, with ongoing per diem coverage partnerships and a preference for locally based candidates within commuting distance.

Candidates must hold current APRN National Specialty Certification, a Master’s degree, WA license in good standing, and NICU experience at Level II or III.

Seeking Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who would like to join our Tacoma WA Area NICU's
Shift Details
  • 24 Hour Inhouse Shifts
  • Level II, II and IV NICU

  • Seeking ongoing per diem coverage partnership
Requirements
  • Current APRN National Specialty Certification

  • Seeking NNP's with Hospital NICU Level II and III Experience.
  • Active WA License in Good Standing

Pay Range (Hourly Pay): $65 - $87/hr based on years of experience.

  • Paid Sick Leave: Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to team members in Washinton under Initiative 1433. Team members who do not accrue PTO are eligible to receive Washington Paid Sick and Safe Leave "PSSL" time in a lump sum.

Per-diem is defined as team members who are scheduled as needed and not on a consistent basis.

Per Diem team members will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Team members begin to accrue sick leave upon hire. However, they cannot use accrued sick leave until their 90th day of employment. There is no annual cap on accrual; however, team members will be able to carry over up to 108 hours of unused paid sick leave the following year.

NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
