Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for Colorado Springs, CO. The role includes 24-hour in-house NICU shifts at premier hospitals and on-call duties, with strong patient-focused care in critical neonate services.

The candidate will have an APRN national specialty certification, a master's degree in nursing, and at least 2 years of Level III NICU NNP experience. Benefits include sign-on bonuses and relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour in-house coverage in Level III NICUs
• Fill 6–10 shifts per month as a full-time NNP
• Conduct emergency department consultations for neonates and nursery procedures
• Respond to high-risk deliveries and assist with NICU rounds

Pediatrix is seeking NNPs for our locations in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, CO!

• Coverage Locations:
  • Children's Hospital Colorado - Colorado Springs
    • Level III NICU - ADC of 50
  • UCHealth Memorial Hospital
    • Level III NICU - ADC of 13
  • Parkview Medical Center
    • Level II NICU - ADC of 4
    • Well Baby Nursery - ADC of 11

• Children's Hospital Colorado and UCHealth Memorial Hospital: 24-hour in-house shifts in our level III NICUs
• Parkview: 24 Hour Shift: NICU and Well Baby Nursery daily rounding and on call from home. Call back into hospital if needed for emergencies or high-risk deliveries
• Other responsibilities include emergency department consultations for neonates, procedures in the nursery
• Full-time is 6-10 shifts per month

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master's degree
