Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for per diem shifts at our Kansas City, MO practice. This role supports 24-hour and 12-hour in-house shifts across three locations: St Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, St Luke's East Lees Summit, and St Luke's North.

Qualified candidates hold APRN National Specialty Certification, a Master’s Degree in Nursing, and preferably an MO license or compact eligibility.

Qualifications

• APRN National Specialty Certification is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing required.
• Minimum 1 year NICU experience preferred.
• MO license or compact-eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal NP coverage for 24-hour and 12-hour in-house shifts.
• Work across three locations: St Lukes Hospital of Kansas City, St Lukes East Lees Summit, and St Lukes North.

• Per Diem** Seeking (NNP) Neonatal Nurse Practitioners seeking additional shifts at our Kansas City, MO Practice!
• The System Includes 3 locations: St Lukes Hospital of Kansas City, St Lukes East Lees Summit and St Lukes North.
• 49-bed, Level-IIIB NICU, a 15-bed Level-IIIA NICU, as well as one Level-II NICU and well-baby coverage.
• 24 Hour and 12 Hour Inhouse Shifts Available
• Current APRN National Specialty Certification
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree
• Minimum of 1 Years Experience
• Active MO License or Compact Eligible Preferred

• Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
• PTO: Per diem team members are not eligible for PTO
• Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays.
• Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
