Qualifications

• Advanced nursing degree in neonatal care (NNP) and related credentials.
• NCC certification as a neonatal nurse practitioner.
• Illinois APRN license and RN license in good standing.
• DEA license eligibility post-start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and formulate plan of care with physician and team.
• Attend high and low risk deliveries as needed.
• Stabilize and transport patients as required.
• Prescribe and evaluate pharmacological therapies according to protocol.
• Participate in teaching, QI projects, and development of policies.
