Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for the NICU Department in Chicago. This role involves comprehensive patient care management, collaborating with a multidisciplinary health team. Candidates must hold a Master's in Nursing, relevant certifications, and be eligible for Illinois RN and APN licenses. Responsibilities include direct patient care, CPR initiation, and developing care plans. The position is registry with rotating shifts, onsite in Hyde Park.

Qualifications

• Current and/or eligibility for State of Illinois RN and APN licensure/registration.
• Must have or be able to qualify for Illinois and DEA prescribing numbers.
• Completion of approved NNP Training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and formulate a plan of care.
• Prescribe and evaluate pharmacological therapies according to protocol.
• Initiate CPR and perform therapeutic techniques to stabilize compromised infants.
