Qualifications

  • Knowledge and skills developed through a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a related discipline.
  • Current and/or eligible for State of Illinois licensure/registration required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and formulate plan of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary health team.
  • Initiate CPR and perform therapeutic techniques to stabilize a compromised infant.
  • Participate in clinical research projects conducted by supervising physicians.

Skills

Proficiency in resuscitation, intubation, and line placement
Ability to conduct physical examinations and health assessments
Excellent clinical, management, and organizational skills
Proficiency in EPIC and computers
Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure

Education

College or university degree from an accredited school/college
Advanced nursing degree or completion of PA educational program
