Job summary
Johns Hopkins Health System in Florida seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 24-hour per week rotating schedule to manage high-risk neonates. The role includes clinical management, education, administrative duties, consulting, and research, in collaboration with medical, nursing and support teams, with family-centered care.
Requires a master's degree and Florida APRN/PA licensure, BLS/PALS/NRP, national certification, and at least 3 years NICU Level III
Qualifications
- Master's degree required (Nursing/DNP or PA)
- Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or PA
- BLS and PALS; NRP acceptable in lieu of PALS for NNP
- Active Florida licensure as RN/ARNP or PA
- National certification as Neonatal NP or PA
- Requires 3+ years NICU Level III APP experience
Responsibilities
- Clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants.
- Educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting and initiating/implementing research.
- Collaborates with medical, nursing and support services to provide family-centered care.
