Applicants must hold a clinical master's degree, FL APRN/PA license, BLS, PALS, and neonatal certification, plus NICU experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing, DNP, or PA studies.
  • Current FL licensure as APRN or PA.
  • BLS and PALS current (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
  • National certification as Neonatal NP or PA.
  • 1 year NICU experience as NNP/PA or NICU RN experience for new grads.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants.

  • Administrative duties within NICU operations.

JHACH is looking for a neonatal nurse practitioner or Neonatal PA to join their Level IV NICU! The practitioner role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high risk neonate and infant, educational responsibilities, administrative duties, consulting, and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA works in collaboration with medical, nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.

Work Hours

40 hours per week, Rotating - Flexible 10-hour day shifts and 16-hour night shifts

Qualifications
  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current FL State Licensure as an APRN or PA
  • Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
  • Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA
  • 1 year of NICU experience as an NNP or PA; or NICU RN experience if New Grad
