Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Florida seeks a neonatal nurse practitioner or Neonatal PA to join its Level IV NICU. The role involves clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, educational duties for families and staff, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Flexibly scheduled 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts and 16-hour night shifts; relocation and PTO benefits apply. A strong commitment to family-centered care and research is expected.

Qualifications

Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
Current FL State Licensure as an APRN or PA
Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP)
Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA
1 year of NICU experience as an NNP or PA; or NICU RN experience if New Grad.

Responsibilities

Clinical management of the high-risk neonate and infant.
Educational responsibilities for families and staff.
Administrative duties within the NICU and department.
Consultation with medical, nursing and support services.
Initiating and implementing NICU-related research.
