Pediatrix Medical Group at Northwest Children’s Hospital in Amarillo is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for its Level III NICU. The team includes NNPs, Neonatologists and dedicated staff to care for newborns with high acuity. This position offers tuition reimbursement for new grads and a comprehensive benefits package.

The 35-bed NICU sees a daily census of 23–25 and provides subspecialties in-house. Certifications in neonatal care are required, with a master’s degree as a minimum

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries as assigned.
• Provide neonatal care in a Level III NICU.
• Perform procedures including intubation and placement of UVC, UAC, and PICC lines.
