Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (or DNP) and Florida APRN licensure.
• NNP Certification and NRP certification required.
• BLS certification and Level II background check required.
• Minimum 2 years NNP experience.
• Credentialing by NCHS Medical Administration completed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses medical problems of high-risk newborns.
• Works variable shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Develops and modifies a plan of care to meet expected outcomes.
• Guides interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes for patients and families.
• Ensures safety, effectiveness and cost in planning and delivering patient care.
• Collaborates with physicians and peers to promote professional growth.
• Maintains skills to provide care appropriate to developmental level of patients.
• Collects and analyzes data to inform orders, referrals and treatments.
