Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing (DNP).
• APRN Florida licensure in good standing.
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS in good standing.
• Level II background check.
• Credentialing by NCHS Medical Administration.
• 2 years of NNP experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Diagnoses medical and surgical problems of high risk newborns.
• Works variable shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates a care plan to attain outcomes.
• Ensures plan of care guides the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains safety, effectiveness, and cost considerations in care.
• Collaborates with physicians and team to improve outcomes.
• Communicates with patients’ families and staff.
• Documents care and orders in EMR.
• Performs procedures within scope of practice in collaboration with physicians.
