Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) required.
• APRN Florida licensure in good standing.
• NNP Certification from the National Certification Corporation.
• NRP certification maintained in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS in good standing.
• Level II background check completed.
• Credentialing by NCHS Medical Administration.
• Minimum 2 years of NNP experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose medical and surgical problems of high risk neonates.
• Work variable shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Develop and modify a plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Guide interdisciplinary team to achieve health outcomes.
• Ensure care plans cover safety, effectiveness, and cost.
• Collaborate with peers to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide age-appropriate care for developmental level patients.
• Gather and integrate data to inform orders and treatments.
• Maintain current expertise to ensure high-quality performance.
• Communicate clearly with team to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination.
• Write orders and monitor drug therapies within protocol with physicians.
