Job summary

FirstHealth Physician Group in Pinehurst, NC, seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the Level II–III NICU team at Moore Regional Hospital on a full-time basis. You’ll work 12- or 24-hour shifts alongside one neonatologist and one NNP per shift, delivering high-quality newborn care in a busy NICU environment.

Qualifications

• NNP-BC certification and NC licensure required.
• NRP certification required and current licensure to practice in NC.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal care within a Level II–III NICU alongside neonatologists and OB specialists.
• Cover newborn services independently when needed with an emphasis on safety.
• Collaborate with the NICU team to optimize patient outcomes and throughput.

Exciting Full-Time Opportunity for Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at FirstHealth of the Carolinas! We’re thrilled to offer an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our growing Level II–III NICU team at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, located in the resort community of Pinehurst, NC.

Our Level III NICU features 13 beds and over 3,000 deliveries annually, with 225 NICU admissions per year. You’ll step into a role where your expertise makes an immediate impact, supported by a collaborative team of neonatologists, OB hospitalists, and MFM specialists.

Work alongside 1 neonatologist and 1 NNP per shift with a manageable census.
