Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams, assesses health status, orders and interprets tests, prescribes medications, and treats illnesses.
• Support the Neonatologist in attending births in Labor and Delivery which includes assessment, evaluation, and treatment of the infant.
• Respond and evaluate infants in the Transitional Nursery, Labor and Delivery, and Emergency Department when requested.
• Round on patients in NICU and facilitate the appropriate care in collaboration with the Attending.
• Documents patient information and care in the medical record, in a confidential manner.
