Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver direct patient care in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team across Bolingbrook and Hinsdale facilities.

You will participate in deliveries, pharmacologic management, CPR, and QA initiatives while guiding residents and APP staff. A strong nursing background and IL licensure are required, with NP training preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license and eligibility for privileging/credentialing.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; advanced practice degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and formulate plans of care with the physician and team.
• Prescribe and evaluate therapies according to protocol.
• Attend both high and low risk deliveries as needed.
• Initiate CPR and stabilize newborns in delivery, NICU, ER and referring hospitals.
• Develop diagnostic strategies and treatment plans to meet patient goals.
• Serve as a resource and preceptor for APP staff and students.
• Participate in QA, policy development, and quality improvement monitoring.
• Stay current with professional trends and regulatory requirements.
