ProMedica Physicians Group in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a team in a 72-bed Level III NICU at Ebeid Children’s Hospital. The role focuses on inpatient neonatal care from birth to six months with rotating day/night shifts.

NP with MSN or DNP, state licensure, and CPR certification are required; prior NICU experience is highly preferred. This is a full-time position with weekend/holiday coverage and no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP required as Nurse Practitioner.
• State licensure in the practicing state(s).
• Current AHA CPR certification and any role-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide NP-led neonatal care in a 72-bed Level III NICU for newborns from birth to 6 months.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic neonatal conditions within inpatient setting.

Job Summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Toledo, Ohio.

Position Highlights

• Join a team of seven Neonatologists and nine NNP's
• 100% inpatient- neonatal patient's (birth to six months of age)
• 72-bed Level III NICU
• Patient volume- 8-16 babies/team (4 total teams)
• Ebeid Children's NICU unit, some high-risk delivery coverage at Bay Park and occasional NICU transport coverage to outlying hospitals
• Shift- six days per pay period (every two weeks)
• Shifts- 7:00a-8:30p (day) and 8:00p- 9:30a (nights), shift hours rotate
• Holidays/Weekends required
• No Call Required
• Experience highly preferred

Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has completed advanced education and clinical training beyond their initial registered nurse (RN) preparation. They play a vital role across ProMedica by providing a wide range of healthcare services, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing chronic conditions, long term disease management, and promoting health and wellness. NPs can work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, urgent care, long term care facilities, and private practices, and may specialize in areas like family medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics. Requirements

• Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
• State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
