ProMedica Physicians Group in Toledo, Ohio seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join the 72-bed Level III NICU, providing inpatient care to birth to six months of age.

The role supports seven neonatologists and nine NNPs, with rotating day/night shifts, six days per pay period and holiday/weekend coverage. MSN/DNP and state licensure required; Epic EMR used.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP required for NP applicants.
• State licensure in the work state(s).
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current AHA CPR certification and role-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal inpatient care in a 72-bed Level III NICU.
• Support a team of neonatologists and NNPs with round-the-clock care.

Job Summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Toledo, Ohio.

Position Highlights

• Join a team of seven Neonatologists and nine NNP's
• 100% inpatient- neonatal patient's (birth to six months of age) 72-bed Level III NICU
• Patient volume- 8-16 babies/team (4 total teams)
• Ebeid Children's NICU unit, some high-risk delivery coverage at Bay Park and occasional NICU transport coverage to outlying hospitals
• Shift- six days per pay period (every two weeks)
• Shifts- 7:00a-8:30p (day) and 8:00p- 9:30a (nights), shift hours rotate
• Holidays/Weekends required
• No Call Required
• Experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Master of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner applicants.
• State licensure(s) required in the state(s) where the Nurse Practitioner will work.
• Certificate of Authority to practice.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification and certification(s) applicable to your role.
