Pediatrix is seeking a qualified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) to provide bedside care for neonates in a 14-bed Level II NICU. The role requires collaboration with the neonatology team and participation in 24/7 NNP coverage.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for neonates >28 weeks in a 14-bed Level II NICU with an average daily census of 6 NICU/8 NBN.
• Cover the NBN service and support the neonatology team in a collaborative work environment.
• Participate in 24/7 NNP coverage with an on-call neonatologist at night.
• Work flexible 24–72-hour shifts to support an excellent work-life balance.
• Lead and contribute to policy development, mentoring, education, and quality improvement initiatives within the APRN-led Leadership Team.
• May provide coverage in Level III–IV NICUs if desired.

Qualifications

• Current APRN National Specialty Certification.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Ability to work in a 14‑bed Level II NICU setting with supportive physician relations.
