Pediatrix is seeking a per diem Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide bedside care at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. This position involves working nights with variable shift lengths and includes weekend coverage. The NNP will attend high-risk deliveries, supported by backup coverage from a neonatologist available from home.

The ideal candidate will hold a current national APRN certification, possess a Master's degree in nursing or a related field, and have at least one year of NNP experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid nursing license in Virginia.
• Current national APRN specialty certification (NNP) required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed Level 3 NICU.
• Manage jet ventilators, HFJV, INO, and cooling therapies.
• Attend high-risk deliveries with backup neonatologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 22‑bed Level 3 NICU.
• Manage jet ventilators, HFJV, INO, and whole‑body cooling therapies.
• Attend high‑risk deliveries with evening backup neonatologist coverage.
• Support night shift operations and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Current national APRN specialty certification (NNP).
• Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of NNP experience.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Virginia.
