Job summary

AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide specialized care at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX. This 1099 contractor role covers the Delivery Room, NICU, Step-Down Nursery, and Special Care Nursery under medical direction.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Nursing, NNP certification, BLS/PALS/NRP/S.T.A.B.L.E., and at least 1 year of recent NICU experience. Licensure and DHA/MTF health requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year of post-graduation/training experience within the last 2 years.
• National board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
• Current, valid, unrestricted nursing licensure in the United States.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States as specified in the PWS.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and monitor premature, high-risk, and critically ill newborns.
• Manage complex neonatal conditions, including respiratory issues, jaundice, anemia, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Provide neonatal consultations, monitoring, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
