Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from ACEN/CCNE-accredited program.
• Board-certified neonatal NP (ANCC/AANP) or equivalent certification.
• Current, unrestricted NP license in Texas throughout deployment.
• MINIMUM 1 year neonatal experience in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of neonatal NP services per privileges.
• Direct and educate staff; deliver evidence-based lectures and trainings.
• Diagnose and treat neonates per protocols; manage common acute conditions.
• Promote preventive care and family education for neonatal patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for cost-effective care options.
• Coordinate transport and participate in discharge planning.
