Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in Lubbock, TX. The role features 8:00 AM–4:00 PM shifts, one week per month starting 01/01/2027, with no call requirements.

Experience in the NICU and a current state license are required, along with BLS, PALS and a DEA. Epic is used for documentation; malpractice insurance is typically arranged by AMN. Competitive pay rates apply.

Qualifications

• Credentialing timeframe 60–90 days.
• NP/PA must hold an active state license.
• BLS, PALS and DEA are required during application.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, one week per month starting 01/01/2027, no call.
• Inpatient NICU rounding and patient care for lower-acuity neonates.
• Document all care in Epic EMR within 24 hours of service.
