Qualifications

• Have a bachelor’s, master's, or doctoral degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution; or
• Have an associate’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly complex immunofluorometric testing including IRT, 17-OHP, T4, TSH and Galt on high-volume neonatal specimens.
• Perform specimen preparation, quality control and data entry with accurate documentation.
• Interpret data, evaluate test results, and resolve atypical results with supervision as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with staff and supervisors to ensure safe, compliant lab operation and meet schedule objectives.
