Job summary

Luke & Associates, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the United States Naval Hospital Guam.

This on-site position supports NICU patients with a strong emphasis on accurate assessment, plan-of-care development, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Applicants must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, active RN license, and NICU experience within the last five years, plus BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree of Nursing required.
• ACEN or CCNE accreditation status preferred.
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications must be maintained.
• Minimum two years of NICU RN experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform triage as assigned.
• Formulate and implement a goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnosis.
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Provide discharge instructions and patient education.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Mentor and supervise LPNs/LVNs and ancillary staff.
• Maintain accurate unit/inpatient documentation.
