Job summary

Luke & Associates, Inc. seeks a licensed pharmacist to support the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam in a full-time, on-site role. You will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services, patient counseling, and medication management to ensure safe, effective care.

Requirements include ACPE-accredited education, a minimum of 3 years’ inpatient/outpatient experience, active pharmacist license, and U.S. citizenship. Strong communication and adaptability are essential in this fast-paced military environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required.
• Graduate from ACPE-accredited college/university.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in outpatient and inpatient pharmacy incl ICU, Med/Surg, NICU, Pediatric, and sterile compounding.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted pharmacist license.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• English proficiency to communicate with patients and providers.
• Stand or sit for extended periods and perform all contracted services.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures.
• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within facility capabilities.
• Counsel patients on medication use and monitor therapy.
• Review patient profiles at dispensing to prevent interactions.
• Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared.
• Supervise inventory control and secure controlled substances.
• Provide input to competency assessments and staff development.
• Collaborate to review clinic standing operating procedures.
