Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Neonatology, seeks full-time Clinical Associates to provide neonatal care at Methodist Hospital Northlake and Southlake, with potential off-site assignments. These roles focus on deliveries, resuscitations, codes, stabilization for transport, and NICU patient care in a non-teaching model.

Applicants must have an MD, be eligible for Indiana licensure, and be board certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD degree and eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.
• Board certified or eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• We especially welcome applicants who have cared for newborns needing intensive care within the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Attend deliveries and participate in resuscitations.
• Respond to codes and provide neonatal stabilization for transport.
• Stabilize and manage care for enhanced Level 2 and tertiary NICU patients.
