Job summary

INTEGRIS Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse Intern (APN-I) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center. Join a specialized team of neonatologists, NPs, RNs, and therapists providing family-centered care to 450+ infants yearly.

Responsibilities include assessment, care coordination, documentation, and collaboration with physicians. Requires RN licensure in OK (or compact) and APRN education/completion within 4 years; certifications (NRP, PALS, BLS, ACLS) preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required and RN licensure in OK or compact.
• National certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) preferred/required within stated timelines.
• Experience: 3+ years RN in acute care; APRN program enrollment/completion expected within 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and risks of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff in care planning.
• Document assessments and communicate changes to care plan.
• Support health promotion and disease prevention across care spectrum.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety goals and quality measures.
• Provide patient education on self-care and preventive health.”
• Maintain compliance with certifications and organizational policies.
