Job summary

UH Lake West Medical Center in the Cleveland area seeks an experienced Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider for a fast-paced NICU. The role includes 10- to 24-hour shifts (Day/Night, weekends and holidays) and delivering care to medically complex neonates from birth to age two, including delivery participation.

The APP will engage in education, research and professional activities to improve patient care and program operations within Ohio guidelines.

Qualifications

• Neonatal APP responsibilities per state scope.
• 1+ years as Advanced Practice Provider required.
• NICU level 3-4 experience required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on data.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per carepaths.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to provide patient care.
• Contributes to staff education and professional development.
