Job summary
Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital is seeking a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider to join the Southwest Utah Neonatology Team. You will cover St George Regional and Cedar City Hospital NICUs, attending deliveries and supporting babies to stay with their mothers when feasible.
The role offers a collaborative environment with RNs, therapists, dietitians, social workers and pediatricians, under an AP Team Lead. A strong credentialing process and Utah APRN/PA license are required.
Qualifications
- Board-certified Neonatal NP or PA with neonatal fellowship required.
- Active Utah APRN/PA license or ability to obtain before starting.
- DEA certificate (II–V) required.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
Responsibilities
- Attend deliveries and provide immediate resuscitation as needed.
- Care for neonates at St George Regional and Cedar City Hospital NICUs.
- Support keeping babies with mothers when medically appropriate to reduce transfers.
- Collaborate with RNs, PTs, OTs, social workers, dietitians and others; educate team members.
