Job summary

Rutgers University Medical Grp is seeking an Advance Practice Provider to deliver neonatal, infant, and early childhood care in a multidisciplinary setting. The role emphasizes family-centered, culturally sensitive care for critically ill and stable neonates.

The position requires CDS/DEA, NRP and BLS, and licensure as an APN/PA with NICU/PICU experience. Days, evenings, nights, and weekend coverage with 12h shifts are available, per diem options offered.

Qualifications

• CDS and DEA required.
• Current NRP and BLS certification.
• One of the following: APN or PA licensure with NICU/PICU experience.
• Multiple certifications acceptable for advanced practice provider role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of neonates and children.
• Diagnose and treat medical conditions under physician supervision.
• Develop and implement care plans with the healthcare team.
• Perform procedures as needed in NICU/PICU settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff for coordinated care.
• Communicate treatment plans and health education with families.
• Stay current with medical guidelines and best practices.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Participate in research or quality improvement activities.
