RWJBarnabas Health in New Jersey seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) to care for neonates, infants, and young children up to one year. The role involves collaboration with neonatology, family-centered care, and a mix of day/night/weekend shifts within the RWJMS Neonatology department at Rutgers University Medical Group. Qualifications
Valid APN or PA licensure required.
RN license required.
NRP and BLS certification currently to be maintained.
APN or PA certification aligned with NICU/PICU inpatient roles.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of neonates, infants, and young children.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions in collaboration with physicians.
Develop and implement treatment plans with the healthcare team.
Perform procedures as necessary within NICU/PICU settings.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff for coordinated care.
Communicate clearly with families about treatment plans and education.
Stay current with medical guidelines and participate in continuing education.
Engage in research or quality improvement activities as directed.

RN License
NNP Certification with NICU RN experience
Primary Care Pediatric NP Certification with APP experience in an inpatient setting
Acute Care Pediatric NP Certification with PICU setting procedural experience as an APP
PA License
