Job summary

EXL is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Neo4j and AWS to lead our graph database migration journey. You will design the architecture and be a hands-on guide to ensure workloads are migrated, tested, and adopted across environments.

You will bridge engineering and business stakeholders, run live demos, onboard engineering teams, guide users through UAT, and support go-live with validation of data integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, with 4+ years in graph databases.
• Proficiency in Cypher or Gremlin and graph theory basics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in dual-shore engagements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Migration & Architecture: design and execute secure migration strategies to Neo4j on AWS.
• Testing & Optimization: lead performance tuning and load testing of Cypher queries.
• POC & Demos: build graph database demos to highlight value.
• Onboarding & Support: provide hands-on guidance to developers and users.
• UAT & Go-Live: define criteria, write scripts, validate data, and support production rollout.
