Job summary

Health Ride Plus Inc is hiring dependable, safety-focused Non Emergency Medical Wheelchair Van Drivers to transport wheelchair, mobility-impaired and ambulatory passengers to medical appointments and other approved destinations.

Requirements include a PA driver's license with a clean record, ability to pass background/drug tests, strong customer service, and willingness to complete wheelchair securement training; on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Pass required background checks and drug/alcohol testing.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• NEMT or transportation experience preferred.
• Ability to complete required wheelchair securement and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and assist passengers.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and ramps.
• Properly secure wheelchairs and passenger restraints.
• Complete vehicle and safety inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or incidents.
• Complete required trip documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional vehicle.
• Participate in required training and on-call rotation.
