Job summary

Health Ride Plus Inc. seeks a dedicated Non-Emergency Medical Van Driver to transport ambulatory passengers to medical appointments and other approved destinations. You will deliver friendly service, assist passengers as needed, and communicate status updates to dispatch.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, keeping the vehicle clean, completing logs, and participating in training and on-call rotations. Pennsylvania requires a valid license and clean driving record for this role.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania driver’s license with a valid driving record is required.
• Background checks and drug/alcohol testing must be cleared.

• Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules.

Health Ride Plus IncThe Standard Non Emergency Medical Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting ambulatory passengers to and from medical appointments and other authorized destinations. Drivers are expected to provide exceptional customer service while adhering to all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and operational procedures.What You’ll DoSafely transport passengers on assigned routes.Assist passengers based on their approved level of service.Provide friendly, professional customer service.Communicate trip updates, delays, or incidents to dispatch.Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.Complete trip logs, manifests, and required documentation.Participate in required training and on-call rotation.What You’ll NeedValid Pennsylvania Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.Ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol testing.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules.Transportation or customer service experience preferred.Physical RequirementsMust be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, bend and reach while assisting passengers, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
