Qualifications

• Valid Georgia driver’s license for the assigned vehicle.
• Clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Complete required background checks and screenings
• Meet Verida driver qualification and credentialing requirements
• Able to safely assist passengers with mobility limitations
• Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills
• Have reliable transportation to and from reporting location
• Operate smartphone/tablet for trip documentation
• Complete all required company safety and transportation training

Responsibilities

• Safely transport ambulatory and wheelchair passengers to medical appointments and approved destinations.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting vehicles.
• Secure wheelchairs using four-point tie-down systems and occupant restraints.
• Operate wheelchair lifts and ramps safely.
• Ensure all passengers are seated and properly secured before vehicle movement.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and professional assistance to passengers.
• Follow Verida transportation procedures and company policies.
