Qualifications

• MinimumRequiredQualifications: Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stretcher van or wheelchair van in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist patients in safely entering and exiting the vehicle, including proper use of stretcher loading systems and securement devices.
• Provide safe transport for patients to and from healthcare facilities, residences, and other destinations.
• Ensure all stretcher and wheelchair securement and safety equipment is properly used and maintained.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate trip logs and required documentation.
• Provide a high level of customer service to patients, families, and facility staff.
• Communicate any delays, incidents, or safety concerns to dispatch and management.
• Assist with patient movement, including lifting, pushing, rolling, and sliding as necessary.
