Job summary

Wapato Shores in Portland, OR is seeking full-time RCBWS Drivers to provide non-emergency medical transportation for older adults and people with disabilities in the greater Portland area.

Drivers transport riders, follow schedules, assist boarding, and ensure safety and dignity on every trip; a clean driving record and five years' driving experience are required. No CDL is necessary, and a four-day 10-hour shift week is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record in past five years.
• At least five years of driving experience as recorded by the DMV.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with mobility devices.
• Pass National Criminal Record Check with fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to medical appointments and errands.
• Follow trip schedules and directions from supervisor.
• Assist passengers with boarding/exiting and securing mobility devices.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity on every trip.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and professional service at all times.
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations for riders with mobility challenges.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and monitor fuel.
• Protect customer confidentiality.
