Rapid Run Logistics LLC in Iowa is seeking a compassionate and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our growing team. You will transport patients to medical appointments with care and professionalism, assisting with boarding and mobility devices as needed.

As a driver, you will maintain trip logs, follow HIPAA guidelines, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with dispatchers and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with wheelchair lift-equipped vehicles or passenger assistance preferred.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with elderly or disabled passengers.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Basic knowledge of Cedar Rapids area roads and navigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities
• Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation in compliance with company standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, HIPAA guidelines, and patient confidentiality protocols
• Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to ensure on-time service
