Job summary

Elite Transportation in Charleston, SC is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily Members/Riders schedules to the Day Center or appointments and to arrange Logisticare Will Call trips in accordance with requirements.

You will validate trips, approve time worked, finalize time cards weekly, and support on-call rotations. Previous experience with wheelchair transportation is preferred; a clean driving record and ability to meet DOT physicals are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation of people with mobility needs preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• DOT physical health eligibility required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with older adults or special care needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Member/Rider schedules to Day Center or appointments.
• Arrange Logisticare Will Call trips per requirements.
• Validate Logisticare trips and approve Transportation Specialists' time.
• Finalize time cards weekly and communicate paid hours to payroll.
• Participate in on-call rotations and transportation operations calls.
• Log maintenance concerns and coordinate with mobile mechanic as needed.
