Job summary

Elite Home Care Day Centers & Transportation in South Carolina is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely transport Members/Riders to Day Centers and medical appointments.

You will perform daily vehicle checks for maintenance issues, greet Riders and Responsible Parties, maintain a clean vehicle, and ensure adequate fuel levels at all times, while delivering high levels of customer service. We offer part-time and full-time positions with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Experience transporting people, including those with compromised mobility.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must meet health requirements of a DOT Physical.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with older adults or those with special care needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport Members/Riders to and from Elite’s Day Centers or medical appointments.
• Perform daily vehicle checks for wear or maintenance issues and report per policy.
• Provide high level customer service to Riders and Responsible Parties.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure adequate fuel at all times.

Skills

Wheelchair transport experience
