Innovative Care Solutions seeks a Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) specialist for a full-time position in Dayton, Ohio. You will safely transport hospice patients and maintain logs, providing high-quality care in line with Laws and standards.

Qualifications

• PASS training or DRIVE training (orientation provided).
• Computer skills to document services and care.
• Ability to drive day, night, or in inclement weather.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• State minimum automobile insurance coverage.
• Must pass a criminal background check and a 10 panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a medical transportation vehicle while in compliance with all laws.
• Prepares logs and reports as required.
• Assists in other activities and departments to ensure complete and thorough patient care for Ohio’s Hospice patients.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities to support the quality of Ohio’s Hospice services.
• Precepts new staff to support orientation and ongoing education.

How You Support Our Mission:

The non-emergency medical transport specialist provides high quality non-emergent care and transportation to Ohio's Hospice patients.

What you should know about the NEMT role:

• This is a Full-time role hours include: 9am-9pm.
• This position is located in Dayton

Responsibilities for the Non-Emergency Medical Transport:

• Safely operate and maintain a medical transportation vehicle while in compliance with all laws
• Prepares logs and reports as required
• Assists in other activities and departments when requested to ensure complete and thorough patient care for all Ohio’s Hospice patients.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities to support the quality of Ohio’s Hospice services.
• Precepts new staff to support professional relationships with newly hired team members as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) training or Area Agency on Aging DRIVE training (provided in orientation)
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen
