As a Database Administrator, you will be a key player in providing L2/L3 support for Customer’s production and development environment. The typical responsibilities include:

• Database performance tuning, which includes Instance tuning and DB tuning.
• DB Parameter tuning (Semaphores, Shared Memory, etc.).
• On‑call support for production issues.
• Backup operations & validation.
• Daily maintenance and monitoring activities.
• Contribution towards migration / upgrade of database if needed.
• Contribution to build hierarchical replication and synchronization of instances.
• Involvement in on‑going projects.
• Basic troubleshooting and configuration.
• Managing and leading the Database track from onsite.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Relevant experience in MySQL Database administration in L2 & L3 support activities.
• 6 to 8 years total experience.
